Floyd Mayweather has hinted he will bring singer Miley Cyrus along as his ring escort the next time he defends his multiple titles.
The 36-year-old undisputed light middleweight champion has picked intriguing celebrities to escort him out onto the ring before fights. Recently he has had 50 Cent, Lil Wayne and Justin Bieber.
Cyrus has become one of the most-searched celebrities on the Internet after her raunchy Video Music Award performance last month with Robin Thicke, where she performed “Blurred Lines.” Wearing latex underwear, she twerked on the 36-year-old and left little to the imagination. Her music video views have since sky-rocketed, with her latest music video, “Wrecking Ball,” accruing 19.3 million Vevo views in one day after its release.
“I was thinking about letting the twerk queen Miley Cyrus bring me out, why not?,” Mayweather told Billboard while at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas over the weekend.
