24 HOUR CURFEW IMPOSED ACROSS YOBE

Some hours after Thursday's attack in the capital of Yobe state, Damaturu, a 24 hour curfew has been imposed across the state.
This is contained in a statement text to Daily Trust by the spokesman of 3 Division Special Operation Battalion, Captain Eli Lazarus.
"The 3 Division Special Operation Battalion, Damaturu, hereby impose a 24 hour curfew across Yobe State with immediate effect." It said.
He further said in the statement that "Law abiding citizens are enjoined to remain calm as the Battalion steps up its operation to rid the state of insurgents."
